San Bernardino man dies from injuries in Muscoy vehicle crash

A 25-year-old San Bernardino man has died from injuries suffered in an Aug. 17 car crash in Muscoy, the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office said.

Ramiro Sanchez Martines was hurt in the collision near the intersection of Porter and North Carolina streets just before 7 p.m. on Aug. 17, and was taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. He died of his injuries more than a week later, on Saturday.

Martines lost control of his vehicle before the collision, but the coroner’s office had no other information about the crash, including whether it involved any other drivers or passengers. The California Highway Patrol is investigating.
