Introducing the New California Accident App: Answers, Evidence and Injury Tools

by | Oct 24, 2026 | Personal Injury

The Law Office of Norman Gregory Fernandez has launched the next generation of The California Accident App, bringing accident documentation, AI-powered legal information, preliminary case-value assessment, evidence organization and a personal pain log into one convenient web app.

The new California Accident App works online and can be installed through supported browsers on phones, tablets and computers. It is designed to help Californians organize information after an injury and connect with our law office when they are ready for an attorney review.

Open The California Accident App

Get answers to California injury questions in real time

The app’s AI assistant lets users ask questions about California personal injury topics and receive responses in a conversational format. Whether someone wants to understand the claims process or prepare questions for a lawyer, the tool offers a place to begin gathering general information.

AI can make mistakes and does not replace advice from an attorney who has reviewed the facts. Users should not rely on the app to determine a filing deadline, make a medical decision or handle an emergency. Call 911 for an emergency.

Explore potential case value and organize financial losses

The case-value feature helps users organize incident facts, injuries and losses for a preliminary AI assessment. Expense and lost-wage tools help users assemble the financial information that may be relevant to a later attorney consultation.

A preliminary assessment is not an appraisal, settlement offer or promise of recovery. An actual case evaluation requires careful review of liability, medical evidence, causation, damages, available insurance and other facts. The app is intended to help organize the discussion, not guarantee a dollar amount.

Document an accident while the details are fresh

The accident report provides a place to record the incident type, date, time, location and what happened. Users can also save injuries and medical-care notes, other parties’ contact details, vehicle and insurance information, witnesses, and the police agency or report number. A location tool can help capture the current location when the user grants permission.

The app includes information useful beyond vehicle collisions, including documentation after a slip, trip, fall or another injury. Users should record what they actually remember and avoid guessing about details they do not know.

Keep photographs and evidence together

Users can add photographs, keep them with their accident notes and save original image files in a complete backup. An evidence checklist provides practical reminders about scene photographs, witnesses, insurance details, police information and medical records.

When sharing a larger collection with our firm, the app may group selected photographs into a PDF of optimized review copies. Original photographs remain on the device and in the full backup. Users should continue preserving original evidence and should collect photographs only when safe.

Track pain, treatment and the effects on daily life

The built-in pain log lets users create dated entries recording pain levels, body areas and symptoms, treatment or medication, and effects on sleep, work and daily activities. Entries can be edited, individually shared or included in a larger export.

The purpose is accurate, timely documentation. The pain log is not a diagnostic tool or a substitute for medical care, and users should describe their own observations honestly without exaggeration.

Enter information once, then review what to share

When a user requests an attorney review, saved contact and accident information is filled in automatically. The saved accident report, pain-log entries and photographs are selected for review, and users can remove items they do not want to send before consenting and submitting.

Sharing with our firm requires a name, a properly formatted email address, a phone number containing 10–15 digits, and meaningful accident information, a pain-log entry or an accepted attachment. Contact details alone are not enough. Nothing is submitted until the user reviews the selection, provides consent and presses Submit.

Users can also call 800-816-1529, email our office, use our firm’s chat assistant or request a free consultation from within the app. Sending information does not create an attorney-client relationship or mean that the firm has accepted a case.

Use it on iPhone, Android, Windows or Mac

The California Accident App can be used in modern browsers on iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, Windows PCs and Macs. Installation options depend on the device and browser. There is no need to search an app store to get started: open the app from our website and follow the available installation instructions.

After the app has loaded successfully, saved documentation tools can also work offline. AI responses, online chat and sending information require an internet connection. Some calling and sharing options depend on the device’s capabilities.

Save a complete backup and restore it when needed

Save or Share Everything creates a full backup containing accident notes, original photographs, pain-log entries and saved expense figures. Restore Backup can bring that information back into the app. Separate text exports are also available for the accident report and pain log.

Saved accident information is stored locally unless the user exports it or sends it to our firm. Questions and information intentionally submitted to AI or chat are transmitted for processing. Save a full backup before clearing browser or site data or removing the app. People moving from an older app version should export important information before making changes.

Get started before you need it

No one plans to be injured. Having a familiar place to record facts, preserve photographs and organize questions can make the aftermath less overwhelming. Explore The California Accident App today or visit our app information and installation page.
